Wilma J. Sandhoff

She was born July 7, 1931, in Harborcreek, Pa., the daughter of the late Grant and Leona (Colvin) Ellsworth.

Wilma had been employed as a custodian at the State University of New York at Fredonia. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Dunkirk. Wilma enjoyed gardening, decorating, and crocheting. Wilma took great pride in her home and was a wonderful cook, and mentioned several times how much she loved her family.

Survivors include three children, David C. (late Audrey) Sandhoff of Dunkirk, Linda (Tracy) Bennett of Westfield, and John (Marion) Sandhoff of Chesapeake, Va.; one brother, Gerald (Sandra) Ellsworth of McKane, Pa.; one sister, Betty Mae (late Robert) Farrell of Erie, Pa.; three grandchildren; four great-grandsons; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Marian (Reynold) Fisher.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 11, at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, 876 Central Ave., Dunkirk. Pastor Mark Massaro will officiate. Burial will be in North East Cemetery, North East, Pa. Arrangements are by the McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home.
