Wanda J. (Kreger) Tallman

Wanda J. (Kreger) Tallman, 62, of Dunkirk, NY passed away unexpectedly Monday evening (May 9, 2022) at Brooks Memorial Hospital. She was born in Dunkirk, NY to the late Calvin and Lorene (Getselman) Kreger. Growing up in Portland NY, she graduated from Brocton Central School, Class of 1977. Following graduation Wanda took up Nursing, which she followed throughout her life. Once retired Wanda enjoyed spending time with her loved ones, cooking, music, nature, and bird watching. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Tallman JR.; two brothers, Calvin and Russel Kreger; and her sister, Brenda. She is survived by her two children, Christina Falkner of Silver Creek, NY and Gunther Tallman of Fredonia, NY; one brother, Roger Kreger, of Forestville, NY; one sister, Donna (Richard) Kelly, of Heath Springs, SC; and two grandchildren, Dominic and Ariana Baez of Silver Creek, NY. Wanda is also survived by her longtime friend and roommate Roy White, along with several nieces and nephews and many others who thought of her as family. There will be a Celebration of Life Luncheon for family and friends at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Fibromyalgia Association or The American Heart Association. Arrangements are by the McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home.
