Thomas F. Wlodarek

He was born Oct. 26, 1938 in Dunkirk, the son of the late Florian and Blanche (Miga) Wlodarek.

A lifelong Dunkirk resident, Tom was a graduate of Cardinal Mindszenty High School, class of 1955. He served in the U.S. Army from 1961-1967. He worked for the U.S. Postal Service in Dunkirk for more than 30 years.

Thomas was a parishioner of St. Hyacinth’s Church and also a member of the First Ward Falcon Club, Shorewood Country Club and several local social clubs. He was an avid golfer.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia “Pam” Elias Wlodarek, whom he married Nov. 28, 1998; one brother, Joseph Wlodarek of Dunkirk; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Wlodarek; and one sister, Jacqueline “Jackie” Wlodarek.

Calling hours will be held Saturday, Jan. 7, from 3-6 p.m. at the McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home. There will be no funeral service.
