Robert C. Yonker

Mr. Yonker was a graduate of Silver Creek High School class of 1962, and attended Bryant and Stratton College and graduated with an Associates in Accounting.

Mr. Yonker was a dairy and lifelong grape farmer. He was a member of Growers Co-Operative Grape Juice Company in Westfield for over 50 years, a member of St. John Bosco R.C. Church in Sheridan, as well as, a member of the Oddfellows.

Bob was an avid reader of History novels and enjoyed spending time outside in his garden and on the farm. Bob greatly enjoyed giving back to the community, donating pumpkins and other items from his garden to local school districts. He also enjoyed going on adventures with his close friend Jessica Huff.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his younger brother, Gerald A. Yonker, and brother-in-law, Robert Lucas.

Survivors include his sister Margaret Lucas of Fredonia, nephew Michael R. Lucas of Fredonia, niece Kathleen (David) Price of Fredonia, great-nieces Brianna and Allison Price of Fredonia.

Calling hours will be held at McGraw- Kowal Funeral Home from 10am-12pm on Friday, February 17, 2023 with a prayer service to follow officiated by Rev. Joseph Anthony Walter of St. Joseph and St. Anthony Parishes. Private Burial will be held in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in Robert’s memory can be made to Sheridan Fire Department, 2800 Route 20, Sheridan, New York 14135 or the American Heart Association.
