Phyllis M. Jagoda

She was born March 25, 1934 in Lockport, the daughter of the late Leroy and Anna (Heminger) Gill.

A resident of Dunkirk for most of her life, Phyllis had been employed at the Fredonia State Faculty Student Association. She was a parishioner of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church.

Survivors include two sons, Robert F. Jagoda Jr. and Thomas A. (April) Jagoda, both of Dunkirk; one daughter, Lorraine (Joseph) Depasquale of New London, NC; six grandchildren, Matthew Jagoda, Jennifer Olow, Scott M. Jagoda, Joseph R. (Elizabeth) Jagoda, Philip (Megan) Depasquale, and Jason Depasquale; ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Jagoda, who died Jan. 8, 1985.

Calling hours will be held today, from 4-7 p.m. at the McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, April 19, at 10 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. Burial will be in Willowbrook Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Star Hospice House, 32 W. Fairmount Ave., Lakewood, NY 14750.
