Patricia L. Martinez

Patricia L. (Guzzetta) Martinez, 77, of Dunkirk, passed away Friday morning, December 27, 2024 at the Absolut Care of Westfield. Born in Dunkirk on July 24, 1947, daughter of the late Joseph and Lorraine (Zeboch) Guzzetta.

A lifelong resident of Dunkirk, Patricia graduated from Dunkirk High School. She dedicated many years of her career to serving as a cook at Brooks Memorial Hospital. Later in her career, she retired from the Chautauqua County Rural Ministry. Known for her loving, caring, and generous nature, she was a hardworking mother who fostered warmth and togetherness among her family.

Holidays were a special time for Patricia, as she delighted in cooking and baking for her loved ones, ensuring that every gathering was memorable and filled with joy. Patricia's greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren. 

In her leisure time, she was an avid bingo player. Patricia was a member of Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her, and her spirit will live on in the hearts of her loved ones.

Survivors include her children Randy (Jannette) Gens, Todd (Melissa) Gens, Kevin Gens and Amy Gens; 16 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren; sisters Linda Mignoli and Mary Lessinger. Also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
