Maryjane Winchell

MaryJane was born to the late Theodore and Regina Fetter of Dunkirk NY.

In 1997, MaryJane met her husband Dewey (Chip) Winchell III. After many years together, the two finally married in August of 2010. MaryJane considered Dewey (Chip) to be “the love of her life.” Together they were each others life-long companions and best friend. They enjoyed life and could often be found enjoying sunsets, drives by the lake, running errands or simply watching their favorite TV shows. It did not matter what they were doing, it only mattered that they were together.

MaryJane is survived by her husband Dewey (Chip) Winchell III, her two step-daughters Shannon Gens (Ray), and Jessica Winchell (Brian) along with her step-grandchildren, Ashley, Sarah, Kyra, Brena, Jake and Gabby.

MaryJane was preceded in death by her step-son Dewey (Tiger) Winchell IV, her uncle Richard Wyszynski and Florence McKinnon, whom she considered her “number one mom”.

Prior to her passing, MaryJane made her final wishes known to her husband. In honoring her wishes, a small private ceremony was held at the McGraw-Kowal Funeral home in Dunkirk NY on December 12, 2022 with those she requested present. Following the ceremony she was laid to rest in Willowbrook Cemetary in Dunkirk NY.

In lieu of flowers, family is requesting condolences be made to the American Heart Association.
