Linda Titus-Battaglia, 60, of Fredonia died unexpectedly, but surrounded by loved ones, at Buffalo General Hospital on March 17, 2022.
She was born January 22, 1962, in Dunkirk, the daughter of Richard L. Titus of Dunkirk and Diane M. Prochnio of Grasonville, Maryland.
Linda was a graduate of Fredonia High School, a member of the class of 1980. After graduating, she went on to be a hard worker, a wife, and a mother, who loved supporting and caring for her daughter, Maria. Following her early retirement, Linda enjoyed going on walks with her daughter, bird watching and feeding, and socializing with her friends.
Linda is survived by her parents, Richard (Virginia) Titus of Dunkirk and Diane Prochnio of Grasonville, MD, as well as her daughter, Maria Battaglia of Dunkirk, and her sisters, Richelle Stephans of Orchard Park and Renae (David) Holtz of Williamsville.
Other surviving family members include her aunt Janet Rozen (and family) of Dunkirk, aunt Susan Mekus (and family) of Centreville MD, stepsons Frank (Stacee) Battaglia Jr. of Fredonia and Michael (Ashley) Battaglia of Forestville, and many cousins, nephews, and a niece.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 26, at 11 a.m. in the McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home. The Rev. Helen Sam will officiate.
