Leah M. Nickerson

She was born Dec. 6, 1976, in Dunkirk, the daughter of the late Louis and Audrey (Clemens) Nickerson.

A lifelong resident of Fredonia, Leah was a graduate of Fredonia High School, class of 1994.

She had been employed as a CNA, cosmetology assistant.

Survivors include her daughter, Rihaina Benner; three brothers: Kevin Schmidt and Duane Nickerson, both of Fredonia, and Louis Nickerson of Jamestown. Leah also has many aunts, uncles, cousins.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Jerry Nickerson.

Leah loved going to the demolition derby’s even winning a heat herself in Dunkirk in 99.

Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
