Father Thomas J. Wopperer

Father Thomas J. Wopperer, 85, died Monday, Aug. 21, 2023, at Brothers of Mercy Campus in Clarence, NY. He was the former pastor of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Dunkirk for nearly 20 years.

Father Wopperer will lie in state at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 328 Washington Ave. in Dunkirk on Thursday, Aug. 24, 2023 from 6 to 8 PM and on Friday, Aug. 25, 2023 from 2 PM to 8 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church in Dunkirk on Saturday, Aug. 26, 2023 at 11 AM. He will be interred at Assumption Mausoleum at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Dunkirk. Memorials may be made to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton in Dunkirk. Arrangements are by the McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home, Dunkirk.
