Barbara E. Guyett

Barbara E. Guyett (Jaeger) of Fredonia, NY, passed away unexpectedly on March 27, 2025 at the age of 85. Barbara was born on July 5, 1939 in Buffalo, NY where she formerly and proudly lived the majority of her life. She is the daughter of the late Frank and Juliana Jaeger.

Barbara is survived by her daughter Maria Lincoln (Lucas Mahoney), and also leaves behind three grandchildren, Marisa Polvino (Anthony), Brooke Lincoln, and Brennan Lincoln, as well as three great grandchildren, Grayson, Peyton and Ashton Polvino. Barbara is also survived by her beloved sister Carol M. Barrile, along with loving nieces and nephews. All who brought immense joy to her life.

She was a devout catholic with a strong faith in God. She spread her love unconditionally just as the Heavenly Father did for all of us.

Barbara had a passion for gardening and the beauty of nature, especially flowers and birds. It was quite common to see her sitting on her side porch with a crossword puzzle in hand, reading her newspaper, and watching the birds.

Barbara will be remembered for her infectious laugh, her sharp sense of humor, her unwavering dedication to her family, and her generous, kind, and loving heart.

Out of respect for Barbara’s wishes, a funeral mass will be held on April 3, 2025 at Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church, Dunkirk NY, at 11am with a burial to follow at Forest Hill Cemetery in Fredonia, NY. A luncheon will follow at the Fredonia Beaver Club to honor and celebrate her life.
