Angelo Ramirez

He was born Oct. 2, 1940, in Utuado, Puerto Rico, the son of the late Diego and Maria (Gonzalez) Ramirez.

An area resident for most of his life, Angelo had worked at various farms in the area. He was a member of Harvest Chapel Free Methodist Church in Fredonia.

Survivors include his wife, Janice (Kellogg) Ramirez; seven children: Angelo L. Ramirez and Micheal L. Ramirez, both of South Dayton, Daniel J. Ramirez of Angola, David C. Csombok, Paula T. Santangelo, Michelle Ramirez, and Yolanda Butts, all of Dunkirk; one step-daughter, Tammy Torrey of Fredonia; one sister, Megdalia Rivera of Texas; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephew.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters.

A memorial services will be held Saturday, Oct. 8, at 11 a.m. at Harvest Chapel Free Methodist Church, 39 Matteson St., Fredonia.
